AHS 1984: A Regrettable Retrospective.

Over the course of the last several years, my affections for the horror genre have waned significantly. I can’t tell whether its due to becoming jaded with age or if the genre is slowly stagnating. To be completely honest, my credibility when talking horror could be considered…questionable. Being a product of the ’80s, I am an avid fan of the Slasher genre and proudly have been for many years. Thus when I discovered the 9th season of FX’s American Horror Story would be set in 1984 and be an homage to the Slashers of the ’80s, I was cautiously optimistic.
