Explore the Vast Reaches of Space with 'Immensity', by Silent Universe

Silent Universe returns to deliver more ethereal ambience from the outer heavens in the newest album, Immensity. In fashionable, poetic irony, composer Pavel Mal (known for his other project, Ugasanie, also on the Cryo Chamber label) has found that the universe, while expansive, is not silent, and in this second album from his side project, he delivers more relaxing soundscapes and ambience for listeners to drift along and become immersed with the vibrations of the infinite void.

This album contains the filtered, slow resonance of the universe all throughout, with doldrum pads and airy stabs of synths that help the mind drift along the currents of nebulae; Delicate oscillations trickle through the low rumblings like telemetry data proceeding through the vacuum of space, with heavy sub bass rising and falling intermittently to help create the sense of cosmic scale that we lack through our limited human perspective.

Immensity truly seeks to encapsulate the vastness of infinity, and while that may seem a lofty goal, Silent Universe has achieved that very thing, by not “showing” you the infinite reaches, but rather letting your own mind show you. Certainly for fans of deep space ambience, you can pick up Immensity by Silent Universe in CD digipak and digital format on the Cryo Chamber Bandcamp page.
