There are certain assurances in horror films, certain elements that are guaranteed to incite chills in the viewer: creepy children, glowing eyes, graveyards - and among them, spooky nuns. Perhaps it is the twist of the narrative, placing a person whose station has long been held in high esteem into the role of malefactor?
